The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) gave the Best Comedy Show Award to 'Wow Mali' over GMA 7's 'Bubble Gang' during the first MTRCB Awards held at Gateway Cinema 5, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.'Talentadong Pinoy' won the Best Talent Show Award over fellow tv5 show 'Shall We Dance'. While its host Ryan Agoncillo won Male Star of the Night with Isabel Oli winning the Female Star of the Night.
Edu Manzano and Jessica Soho were given the Best Male Host Award and Best Female Host Award respectively.
Michael V got the Best Actor Award while Bea Alonzo won the Best Actress Award.
Gloria Romero received the Lifetime-Achievement Award for her contribution to Philippine Entertainment.
